What can I expect when working with Always Typing?
Always Typing Resumes consistently receives 5-𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫 (★★★★★) reviews for the resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn optimization work we do.
Each client receives 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 and 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 help from a highly trained and professional resume writer.
Your resume, cover letter, and/or LinkedIn optimization project typically begins with a review of your current resume (though some people skip this step).
Once you choose the service package you’d like, the first draft of your resume is delivered within 3 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬.
From there, you’ll enter the highly collaborative revision phase. While you are afforded unlimited revisions, most clients’ projects are complete after only 1 or 2 rounds.
Once the resume is finalized any supplemental documents (e.g., cover letters and LinkedIn optimization documents) are delivered within 2 business days.

What if I need a service that isn't listed on the website?
Our goal is to proactively anticipate everything our clients need. With that said, there are likely things that you’d need that aren’t listed on the SERVICES PAGE. For example, you may want a consultation for interview preparation. We can certainly accommodate that.

For which fields can Always Typing write resumes?
Always Typing has experience writing resumes in every field imaginable. Obviously, we don’t have personal experience working in every field, but we are well-versed in current best practices and can translate experience. Also, we’re really good at asking the right questions to get measurable achievements onto your resume that will get you through the Applicant Tracking System and impress a hiring manager.
Am I guaranteed to get a job with my new resume?
There would be no way for us to guarantee that you get a job because so much more than just your resume goes into earning a job offer — like how well you interview.
So, while we can’t guarantee that you’ll get a job, we do guarantee that you’ll see an increase in interviews.
If you do not see an increase in interviews within 60 days, send us an email and we’ll rewrite your resume for free.
Is there a refund policy?
While no customer has ever requested a refund, we understand the possibility of this occurring does exist. Always Typing will provide a refund if you want to cancel the order before you receive the first draft.
After delivery of the first draft, you are afforded unlimited revisions until you’re completely satisfied. If something happens and you aren’t seeing an increase in the number of interviews, then we’ll do a rewrite for free — within 60 days.

How do I collaborate with my writer?
Always Typing has made the process as easy as possible. Once you submit your old resume and answer some intake questions, you will be contacted via email — be sure to check your junk folder if you haven’t heard anything within 24 business hours.
Do I really need a professional-written resume?
In some cases, hiring a professional resume-writing service doesn’t make sense. Always Typing may find that your resume is fine, but your LinkedIn profile needs work. You may only need assistance with interview preparation. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out and ask. We will let you know what you need to do.
